Use the automatic buttonhole foot on the 2800 to make a classic one-step buttonhole. With the drop-in bobbin, there's no separate bobbin case to misplace Its see-through cover lets you see just how much thread is left on the bobbin. And there's a bobbin threading guide right on the cover for your convenience. You'll need to drop the feed dog when you want to sew on buttons or do free motion work - stippling or thread painting, for example. Just move the handy lever located on back of the free arm and you're ready to go. The free arm makes it so easy to reach circular areas like trouser legs and shirt cuffs. Centimeter and inch measurements on the needle plate and the base of the machines are handy tools for sewing accuracy. Whatever your quilting speciality might be - applique, patchwork, crazy quilting, Seminole - these machines are up to the task. (The quilt guide is optional on the 2600.) A simple pull on the lever threads the needle first time, every time.
Whatever your sewing style - practical, creative, for your home, for your family, for yourself - the Elna 2800 will surely fit your needs.
